A Message from Sarah

Here at SayIt Mental Health, I offer more than just therapy; I offer a place to exhale, reset, and reconnect with who you truly are beneath all the responsibility.

I want women to feel the peace of saying what they think and advocating for what they want.

I welcome you to take the next step in your journey to healing and calm.

Why I Started SayIt Mental Health

My approach to therapy is shaped by both my extensive clinical experience and personal loss. I’ve worked in medical settings, group practices, child welfare in Las Vegas, and crisis and advocacy roles in Boston, experiences that gave me a clear understanding of how stress, trauma, systems, and relationships impact women under pressure.

After the loss of my daughter, I founded SayIt Mental Health in 2024 to offer the kind of care I wished had existed: honest, supportive, practical therapy for women navigating anxiety, achievement, and grief.

"Mental health is not a destination, but a process. It’s about how you drive, not where you’re going."

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with my Master of Social Work (MSW) from UNLV, and I’m also a recovering people-pleaser and an infant-loss mom. Those experiences shape the way I show up in this work; with depth, tenderness, and a very real understanding of the emotional weight women carry.

My work has been shaped by years of supporting women across a range of high-pressure, emotionally complex settings. These experiences have given me a deep, compassionate understanding of how stress, trauma, systems, and relationships intersect in the lives of women who are trying to hold everything together and they inform the grounded, attuned way I show up in therapy.

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

    • Trauma-informed and attachment-focused approaches

    • Strength-based and relational therapy

    • Evidence-based strategies for anxiety, stress, and burnout

But beyond the degrees and training, I bring my authentic self into the therapy room because you deserve a therapist who feels human, relatable, and genuinely invested in your healing.

“Sarah changed my life in the most beautiful of ways …”

“I came to see Sarah at a time in my life when I was extremely lost and had no idea how to help myself in the next phase of my life. I had worked with other therapists to cope with grief, building self esteem, and moving on from an abusive relationship, but none of them helped me see myself like Sarah has. With Sarah’s guidance I feel grounded and proud of the woman I am, and always have been despite an imperfect past. She has challenged me when I need it, encouraged me to feel every emotion in the way that is right for me, and supported me when my emotions were just too much to handle.”
